The Douglas Beach Race will be going ahead tonight (Tuesday) as planned with practising from 6.30pm and racing from 7pm.
However, due to the low cloud base, the air display planned for this evening, has had to be postponed and will now take place at 9.35pm on Wednesday over Douglas Bay.
Furthermore, due to the wet roads, the stunt show and entertainment which was due to take place on Harris Promenade outside the Villa Marina this evening has been cancelled.
However, the beer tents will be both open and the promenade fun fair will be open till 11.30pm.
Pigs on the Wing are playing live on stage at the Villa Marina at 7pm.
Live music will be played at Sam Webb’s and Brendan O’Donnell’s on Castle Street, Douglas, the Crosby Hotel in Crosby, The Mines Tavern in Laxey, and the Stanley Hotel in Ramsey.
