Amended schedule announced for Monday Isle of Man TT racing

A FATAL road traffic accident at Greeba Bridge has led to a delay to the start of today’s Isle of Man TT schedule.

The delay was caused by an incident at Greeba involving a bike and two cars at around 9.15am. It is understood the biker lost their life.

The entire Mountain Course closed at around 11.20am.

The day’s programme has now been been revised and will begin at 12.30pm with a demonstration lap by a Subaru car.

Racing will begin at 1pm with the four-lap Supersport 1 race, followed at 3.15pm by sidecar practice and another Subaru demonstration lap at 3.30pm.

The electric bikes will be given the chance to practice at 3.50pm.

Access corridors and crossing points will open between 5pm and 6pm to allow commuters the chance to get home.

Racing will resume at 6.30pm with the four-lap Superstock event.
