BW OAKFIELD Group (BWO), Kreston International’s Isle of Man member and licensed Trust & Company Service Provider, have recently announced the appointment of Laura Faulds as personal assistant to the board.
Previously, Laura held the post of operations manager within family business, Taste Buds Ltd, following a period of study at Lancaster University where she read Management and Entrepreneurship.
The appointment follows the recent acquisition of EIS Advisors in 2011, and the recent success at the inaugural International Accounting Bulletin’s industry awards, where Kreston International were successful in lifting the Rising Star Network award.
Laura said: ‘I have a very keen interest in business. BWO are an expanding company, with several initiatives in the pipeline, and it’s great to be a part of that.
‘I’ll continue to be involved with the family business as a non-executive director, so it’s extremely rewarding balancing the two’.
Group managing director, Stewart Davies said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Laura to the team, and her appointment was against stiff competition. Her entrepreneurial nature reflects our own ambitions for the business and my expectation is that she will become a valuable member of the team’.
