People looking for information about careers and job opportunities in the Isle of Man can find out more at the Villa Marina, Douglas, on Tuesday next week between 9am and 7pm.

Employment and Skills 2013 is a free event being hosted by the government. It will provide an ideal opportunity for job seekers and those considering careers options to meet with employers from a variety of sectors.

The event represents the Isle of Man’s largest annual gathering of local employers and will feature representatives from a wide range of business sectors such as construction, engineering, retail, IT, financial services, accountancy, law and the armed forces.

Motivational speaker John Loughton will be attending the event to present to delegates attending. He rose to prominence when he won TV’s Big Brother Celebrity Hijack in 2008 and has visited the island several times since then.
