He has been group chief executive and chairman of HSBC and was made a minister for trade and investment in the UK government in 2010.
Lord Green is also an ordained Christian minister. He will be the speaker at a breakfast meeting at the Palace Hotel at 7.30am on Saturday, July 6. He will refer under the title ‘Serving God; Serving Mammon’ to some of the tensions in his life and work.
This will be the 10th in a series of annual breakfasts organised by an interdenominational group of Christians.
The admission fee is £12 and prior booking is essential to david.holmes@manx.net or by phone 622238.
