Consumer watchdogs at the Office of Fair Trading are warning consumers of several scams which are currently circulating all claiming to be from local banks.
The most recent, which comes in the form of an e-mail, claims that ‘Your e-Document is now available for your view. Certain changes have been made to your online banking access. To avoid service interruption download below to access your document and changes.’
The OFT says consumers should be suspicious of any sort of unsolicited email, letter or phone call.
