Could the TT bus strike be called off at the 11th hour?
The Unite union is recommending drivers accept the latest offer from Bus Vannin management.
If they vote yes, the long-running dispute will be over.
The ballot opened at 6pm on Wednesday and will close at 3pm today (Friday).
A first ballot on the deal was halted without a count when shop stewards raised concerns about possible discrepancies.
Unite’s Eric Holmes admitted it was embarrassing. ‘The union can’t be blamed,’ he said. ‘We recognised a problem and acted accordingly.’
