A new cafe and bar has opened in the airport’s departure lounge.
In 2012, Caterleisure (Isle of Man) Ltd won the contract to operate facilities on behalf of the Department of Infrastructure at Ronaldsway.
A new Costa outlet and Okell’s Bar have now opened in the departure lounge, the final part of a development process that has seen Caterleisure (Isle of Man) Limited invest over £240,000 in the airport facilities over the last 12 months.
Landside on the first floor of the terminal building, the refurbishment has also encompassed a refurbishment of the Café Oasis facility and the introduction of a new, full WHSmith outlet.
The new Okell’s bar in the departure lounge is open for all departing flights and stocks a full range of local and international beers, wines and spirits.
The company says that the Costa coffee will be sold at high street prices.
