THE island’s branch of the Samaritans is to hold a recruitment event next Saturday (April 20).
The charity, which runs a helpline for people who are finding life hard, will give people the chance to find out more about what being a volunteer involves.
It will take place at the Strand Centre in Douglas from 10am and 4pm.
