MANX Electricity Authority staff have been working all day to restore power to the last remaining 85 customers whose supply was cut off because of the snow.
At 5pm, there were 77 customers were still cut off.
An MEA spokesman said: ‘It our aim to have them all back on supply by the end of tonight.’
A fault in the area of Sulby village late this afternoon took 53 more customers off supply. That is currently being investigated.
The spokesman added: ‘If you have not yet contacted us to report that you have no power, or if you have concerns about any vulnerable customers, then call our customer support team on 687687.’
