NEW YEAR’S Day dippers rushed into the water at beaches all over the island.
Most were raising money for charity as they braved the chilly waters.
The events have grown over the years and now take place in Peel, Laxey, Port St Mary, Gansey, Port Erin, Castletown, Ramsey and Michael.
There might be even more unofficial ones.
We recorded the action in Laxey and had photographers at many of the others.
