A Peel art student has had her work chosen to be showcased to millions as part of a campaign in the UK.

Ana Jaks, 22, is one of just 20 graduates to be selected as a ‘brightest young star’ as part of Creative Review magazine’s talent spotting initiative that highlights up and coming art and design talents from universities and colleges.

Ana, a graduate from Falmouth University, will have an image called ‘The Selfie Phenomenon’ exhibited on large screens across the UK until August 30.

‘I’m thrilled to have been chosen to be part of this campaign, it’s really exciting to have my work on display where many thousands of people can see it,’ said Ana.

‘It’s a huge honour and a great boost so early on in my career.’

Patrick Burgoyne, editor of Creative Review magazine, said: ‘Supporting emerging talent is one of the most important things we do at Creative Review.

‘Each year we seek out the brightest young stars at degree shows up and down the country in our talent spotting section.

‘We’re delighted to be able to bring the best graduate work to an even wider audience this year thanks to our partnership with Creative Translation and JCDecaux.’

The campaign features young artists from across the British Isles and is being showcased in all major railway hubs and on retail screens in a range of shopping centres.
