Knockaloe Beg Farm invited families to come along and watch lambs being born at the weekend.
Fiona Anderson, who owns the Patrick farm with husband Jon, said: ‘Lambing Live went really well.
‘We had over 60 children from all round the island, they saw 12 live deliveries and all lambs were delivered by our visitors.
‘Children bottle-fed the ‘meg’ lambs (orphans), then we went off on a trailer ride checking the sheep, then to feed the piglets, chickens, goats and laoghtans.’
The day was finished off with hot dogs and cake in the farmhouse. The event was run by ‘Xcite’ from Living Hope West, a church group for seven- to 11-year-old children.
Xcite’s next event will be a ‘Games and Nerf Wars’ day at the Tommy Clucas Sports Hall on April 18, from 2pm until 4pm.
