An inquest has opened into the death of a youth worker.
Darren John Gale, who was 43 and lived at Melrose Cottage in Sulby, was found hanged from a tree in the garden of Roselea Cottage in the village on Saturday, March 28.
Coroner of inquests John Needham opened and adjourned the inquest, in which the cause of death was given as asphyxia, due to or as a consequence of hanging.
The police have paid tribute to Mr Gale, who worked as a youth justice worker in Social Services.
Investigations are continuing.
