A UK news website has reported a story that’s very familiar to Isle of Man Examiner readers.
The Mail Online, which claims to be the most-visited English language website in the world, ran a story about a man who’d been in court in the Isle of Man for possession of a small amount of cannabis.

A careful reading of the story will see that it’s actually a news report about another news report, run in the Sun.
A Sun journalist last week rang Isle of Man Newspapers chasing up one of our stories, which that paper then reported.
He’d seen the Examiner story of February 10, which reported the court story originally.
