Illustrator and artist Juan Moore has spoken about the challenges of creating an image a day for a year.
He is pictured giving a talk at the Henry Bloom Noble Library, in Douglas, last week.
Juan set himself the ambitious project of creating new artwork every day in 2014, and his blog averaged between 100 and 200 views each day by people from all over the world.
He said there were a couple of days in January when he found it ‘hard to come up with anything’. And he said he struggle during TT ‘where I wanted to do images that were bike-themed without actually doing images of bikes’.
But he enjoyed the freedom of using whatever medium he was in the mood for – acrylic paint, print making, digital or drawing - to explore a number of themes.
