A teenager has appeared in court after a man was stabbed seven times at a party in Farmhill in the early hours of Saturday.
Jack Marshall Bridson, who is 18, of Close Cowley, Anagh Coar, has been charged with wounding with intent causing grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Owen Edwin Plaskett was stabbed at the Halloween party in the garden at 16 Hilltop Rise in Farmhill, Douglas.
He is currently in Noble’s Hospital in Braddan, where his condition was described as ‘stable and comfortable’.
Mr Bridson will be assessed by mental health services before appearing in court again tomorrow (Tuesday).
A knife was recovered in the garden at the scene.
