Police are investigating after four gnomes were stolen from a garden in Peel.
They were taken at some time since Friday from a property on the Ballawattleworth estate.
Three of the gnomes have been hand made by the owner and a fourth of a ‘Snow white’ has been in the family for 40 years and has sentimental value.
A police spokesman said: ‘The largest weighs at 35lb (16kg) so they wouldn’t exactly fit in someone’s pocket!
‘Please keep your eyes peeled for these as the owner is desperate to get them back in one piece.’
