Just over £2m has been spent on government staff redundancies this year.
In total 38 government workers were made redundant, including seven who earned over £60,000 a year.
Redundancy pay-outs to those seven totalled £693,398. The total amount spent on redundancies is £2,002,964.10 so far this year.
Of those made redundant, two were subsequently re-employed, either personally or as consultants with a government department or other government agency.
The figures were released by Treasury Minister Eddie Teare MHK in a written reply to a Tynwald question from Liberal Vannin Party leader Kate Beecroft (Douglas South).
They show that in 2013-14, 21 government workers were made redundant in 2013-14, at a cost to the taxpayer of £1,351,051, including six earning over £60,000. Redundancies pay-outs to those six totalled £911,371.
In 2012-13 - 21 staff were made redundant, with pay-outs totalling £226,190.
In 2011-12, 32 people were made redundant at a cost of £639,888. Eight staff lost their jobs in 2010-11 and two in 2009-10.
