St Mary’s School, in Douglas, was one of thousands of schools around the world to celebrate Roald Dahl Day.
On Friday, pupils and staff dressed up as their favourite characters from the books.
This year, the aim was to celebrate 50 years of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
And at St Mary’s, there were a number of Willy Wonkas as well as some 27 oompa loompas.
Among the other popular characters were Mike Teavee, dressed in cowboy attire, Matilda and even the tortoise out of Esio Trot.
