Residents can now register for the TT Homestay scheme for three years – and get a discount in the process.
The change has been introduced by Regency Travel, which has now taken over the scheme on behalf of the government.
Homeowners are now able to register for a three year period rather than the standard one year option which was previously available.
The registration fee will continue to be the same as this year’s scheme at £15 for any re-registrations or £25 for new registrations.
For any homeowners looking to register properties for three years it will cost £30 for a re-registration, which means one free year, and £45 for any new registrations.
Tony Lawrence, of Regency Travel, said: ‘This will be our first full year since taking over the Homestay scheme and we are delighted that we are able to implement changes to the scheme which will only benefit the homeowners.
‘It’s such a great scheme, and we look forward to working with residents of the island and also the many visitors who use the scheme.’

The Homestay scheme aims to offer affordable accommodation for visitors to the island during busy periods, providing the opportunity to live in a family home and experience life in the Isle of Man.
Accommodation is available on a bed and breakfast basis or self-catering basis where visitors can rent a house or apartment.
