Tynwald will hear a petition calling for the compulsory purchase of land at Ballabeg to allow the extension of Arbory parish church’s burial ground.
The petition by the church wardens of the ecclesiastical parish of Arbory and Castletown will be moved by Rushen MHK Juan Watterson.
No agreement has reached with the landowner and tenant over the sale of the 0.35 acres of land at Ballaclague farm which will provide space for 180 graves.
