Firefighters were called to a house fire in Ballajora Hill, Ramsey.
Crews from Ramsey were called out on Friday evening to a report of an electrical extractor fan fire in the upstairs bathroom.
The blaze had gone out prior to their arrival, but the first floor and loft were heavily smoke logged. Electrical supplies were isolated and the property ventilated. Affected areas were dampened down and checked for any hot spots with a Thermal Image Camera.
One appliance remained in attendance until 21.20hrs to make the premises safe and liaise with an electrical engineer.
