A serious assault on a 23-year-old woman was committed in the area of Demesne Road, Douglas, last night (Thursday).
Police are seeking information after the woman recieved ‘serious injuries to her body’. She remains in Noble’s Hospital where she requires extensive treatement.
It happened about 8.45pm and police say while only one person would appear to be the victim, it is likely that a number of young people would have been present at the time.
