Local business figures David and Alison Dorricott have invested £1 million on the International Centre for Technology (ICT) University.

The sum takes the funds raised by the Manx Educational Foundation (MEF) to £7 million and it needs £5.5 million more for the project to go ahead at the Nunnery.

Mr Dorricott is a director of Ramsey-based AFD Software.
