The government wants to set up a permanent exhibition about the Manx parliament in St John’s, the village in which the annual Tynwald ceremony takes place.
The Tynwald Management Committee is looking for expressions of interest from parties who could provide and operate premises near Tynwald Hill for the exhibition.
The exhibition would be open all year, although limited hours between November and March would be acceptable.
There should be space for visitors to watch a short film about Tynwald, supplied by the Clerk of Tynwald’s Office, an information display area and possibly a point of sale for Tynwald souvenirs.
Anyone interested should apply in writing with details of the space and facilities available, to Joann Corkish, Clerk of Tynwald’s Office, Legislative Buildings, Finch Road, Douglas, IM1 3PW or email j.corkish@tynwald.org.im
The closing date for submissions 5pm is April 16.
