Burglars stole a number of items and cash from a flat in Castlemona Avenue in Douglas on Saturday.
The theft took place between 11.30am and 3.30pm.
Officers would like to speak to anybody in the area at the time, including the rear lane parallel to Castlemona Avenue, or whether you know of anyone suddenly being in possession of a quantity of unexplained cash or have seen anyone in the area carrying a small brown, aged plastic suitcase.
