Are you aged about 25 to 35 and looking to meet new people in the Isle of Man?
If so, then you are exactly the kind of person that a new group which meets for the first time next week wants to hear from.
We are Young will meet up once a month, to have a go at everything from kayaking, coasteering, beach barbecues and camping to staying indoors for film nights and bake offs.
The first meet-up will take place on Wednesday next week (March 26), from 6.30pm, at Bath and Bottle, in Victoria Road, Douglas.
There, they will be watching the 1980s film classic Gremlins.
The organisers behind the group have been busy putting up posters with their details around the island, as well as promoting the group on Facebook.
On the group’s page it explains how it works and what to expect: ‘Every month we will hold an event that won’t cost you the earth from film nights to camping.
‘Our aim is to bring young fun loving people together to socialise and enjoy the island indoors and outdoors
‘All we ask you to do is to bring a friend and if you’re feeling adventurous organise an event.’
