The Mountain Road has now reopened after being closed this morning (Tuesday) following overnight snow.
An update by the Department of Infrastructure said that, following an inspection, the road was to open at around 12.15pm.
A number of other routes were affected by the wintry showers, resulting in slippery conditions during the morning rush hour.
