A vehicle was damaged when its owner was attending a funeral.
Between 10am and 10.45am on Thursday, November 7, a green car was parked outside Rushen Church.
At the time there were a lot of vehicles in the area due to the large number of people attending the funeral and parking was limited.
Castletown-based constable Louise Kennaugh said: ‘When the owner of the vehicle returned to leave it was noticed that there was a large dent to the near passenger side wing.
‘The damage is so great that I am sure that the person responsible must have known that they had collided but sadly did not leave a note with their details attached.’
Police did not release any information about this incident till today (Monday).
