Police have confirmed that Stefan Proverbs was arrested this morning (Wednesday).
As iomtoday.co.im reported last week, police investigating an assault were looking for him.
Inspector Derek Flint today said: ‘Mr Proverbs has been located and detained by police this morning at an address in Douglas.
‘A local man was also arrested in connection with impeding his arrest.
‘We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the numerous members of the public who called with sightings and information. It really is appreciated.’
