Police are investigating an early morning assault on a woman in Douglas.
Detective Inspector Mark Newey said, ‘Between the hours of 3.30am and 4.45am on Tuesday, August 27, in the vicinity of Glen Falcon Gardens, on Broadway, Douglas, a woman was assaulted.
‘Despite it being the early hours of the morning, I know that there were both pedestrians and motorists out and about at that time.
‘I am appealing for any persons who may have been walking around the area of the gardens or were travelling past in a vehicle between these times to come forward to help the police with their enquiries.
‘Any phone calls should be made to police headquarters switchboard on 631212 and ask for either myself, DC Morgan or DC Harrison of the CID.’
