Tynwald Day takes place tomorrow (Friday) with all sorts of entertainment on offer throughout the day.
If you plan on travelling to the fair the following road closures and parking restrictions will be in operation.
From 10am to 4pm, the A1 Douglas to Peel road extending westwards from the former Ballacraine Hotel to its junction with Station Road, St Johns and Glen Mooar Road between its junction with the A1 Douglas to Peel Road and its first junction with the Glen Mooar Loop Road, St Johns.
From 10am to 2pm, Station Road, St Johns from its junction with the A30 Patrick Road to its junction with the A1 Douglas to Peel Road, except for buses.
An alternative route for traffic will be via the A30 Patrick Road and The Hope.
From 8am to 3pm, a clearway will be introduced with no stopping permitted on the entire length of Glen Mooar Road to its junction with the A20 Poortown Road, St Johns.
From 7.10pm to 7.50pm, the A1 Douglas to Peel Road from the Arboretum to its junction with the Glen Mooar Road, St Johns. Station Road junction and Glen Mooar Road will remain open.
