The island will mark Armed Forces Day on Sunday.
The parade will take place along Douglas Promenade from 3pm.
Representatives of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and the Army will take part. Some of them have just returned from active service in Afghanistan will travel to the island to take part in the parade, service and other celebrations.
The Steam Packet will transport the troops and their equipment to the island from both Liverpool and Heysham.
A service of commemoration led by Archdeacon Andy Brown follows in the Villa Marina.
Guests will then be given tea and entertained until 9.30pm
The Lieutenant Governor, policitians and the island’s military community will be there.

Our Manx troops here at home, marching proudly in uniform alongside our veterans adds so much to the Day.’
A special event this year is the dedication of a new banner for the island’s Army Cadet Force.
