A vandal scratched a blue Honda car parked on Elm Drive, Onchan, at around 8pm on Monday.
Constable David Thommeny said that the incident has left the owner of the vehicle upset and out of pocket and he would like to hear from anyone who may have been in the area at the time and seen anything suspicious or from anyone who may have information regarding this incident.
In a separate incident, overnight on Saturday, someone entered a property in Fenella Terrace in Peel and caused some criminal damage to television cables inside the house. These cables were cut along with some electrical cables in to a router.
Peel police are asking members of the public who saw anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch.
