The deadline for expressions of interest in the contract to dismantle the Solway Harvester passed on Friday.
The Department of Infrastructure had invited suitably experienced contractors to submit their interest in writing by June 21.
Rebecca Williamson, from Procurement Services, said that they were unable to reveal details of any offers received as the information was confidential at this point.
The Solway Harvester is a scallop dredger from Kirkcudbright in Scotland, which sank off the coast of Ramsey in heavy storms on January 11, 2000, with the loss of all seven crew members.
