Kiwi Bray Hill crash victim recalls how disaster struck

A New Zealand woman injured in the Bray Hill TT crash has told of the moment that debris from debut rider Jonathan Howarth’s machine slammed into the crowd of spectators.

Aucklanders Tracey Partridge, 27, and her boyfriend Luke van den Bos, 32, were left with serious injuries to their lower legs following the horrific accident on Senior Race Day.

She said: ‘I turned myself around thinking “get out of here” but it came through a steel fence in front of us and it hit us and pushed us into the picnic table and chairs that were there.’
