Chief Minister Allan Bell has written to No 10 Downing Street ahead of the G8 summit, at which offshore jurisdictions such as the Isle of Man are set to be discussed.
In the letter he says that working with the United Kingdom to promote global tax transparency is part of the Isle of Man’s commitment to international responsibility and co-operation.
The G8 summit to be hosted by the UK in Northern Ireland later on June 17 and 18.
Mr Bell has written to Prime Minister David Cameron to reassure him about the island’s position on tax information exchange and the identification of corporate beneficial ownership.
