All those interested in first time buyer housing are invited to an open day organised by the Department of Social Care (DSC) from noon to 8pm on Wednesday, June 19, at the Castletown Civic Centre, Farrant’s Way.
People can find out more about five separate first time buyer developments in Castletown, Colby, Peel and Ramsey, which are due to be completed during 2013. Information includes the properties being built, the range of buyback properties available for sale and the House Purchase Assistance Scheme, which offers financial assistance towards properties up to £150,000. There will be plans of the properties and virtual photos of the developments.
Staff from the Housing Customer Services Team will be on hand to answer questions on eligibility for and allocation of properties.
DSC Minister Chris Robertshaw MHK said the day was a ‘worthwhile opportunity’ for people to meet members of the team and find out more about First Time Buyer housing.
