Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on Westmoreland Road, Douglas, on Thursday afternoon.
It happened at around 2pm when a group of men become involved in a violent altercation which spilled into the road near to the old Noble’s Hospital site. Four men were arrested following the incident and a number of witnesses have already assisted the police with their enquiries.
It is believed that several motorists were forced to stop and anyone who has information is asked to contact PC Killey, Sergeant Corran or any police officer.
