Pedal power by pupils at Kewaigue School has raised more than £320.
Sixty children of all ages took to the National Sports Centre’s raceway on Sunday in the event organised by the Friends of Kewaigue School. They cycled three laps of the track before enjoying bacon and sausage sandwiches and cakes.
Lisa Benham said: ‘They had a wonderful time. The social side was as important as the fundraising.’
She said: ‘The money will be used for the benefit of the children, such as for outdoor play equipment or school trips. It makes a huge difference for the children.’
Lisa thanked sponsors Tesco and The Book Company. Pictured is Gill O’Malley of Tesco with the children. Picture: JM130512 (7)
