A St John’s man has appeared in court charged with rape, assault causing actual bodily harm and conduct amounting to harassment.
William Henry Kelly, aged 45, of Peel Road, is yet to enter a plea but his advocate Roger Kane said that he would be denying the allegations.
A bail application was denied and Mr Kelly will appear in court again on Tuesday.
