BUDDING entrepreneur James Allen has launched an iPhone game called Save Gloop.
The 15-year-old King William’s College pupil says business in his blood.
His father Jon Allen is a hotelier and founded Domicilium and PDMS. And his mum Andrea is a businesswoman.
But James has devised the game himself and it is available at the App Store.
James, who lives in the south of the island, says: ‘Basically, business is in my blood. And I think it shows. I had my first business selling ice cream on the beach opposite my house one summer when I was 10. At the age of 11, I started a business selling chicken eggs from my grandad’s chickens to teachers at school. From there my businesses just got bigger and better, moving more into technology and e-commerce as time progressed.’
The game features title character ‘Gloop’ who struggles for his life after falling down a Space-Hole on his home planet, Glooperon. Players guide Gloop down the stickiest Space-Goo whilst at the same time avoid being swallowed up by monsters and black holes or blown up by shooters.
James said: ‘I think when it comes down to it, Save Gloop is a fun, entertaining game and has the potential to be huge.’
Dad Jon said he was very proud of his son who had spent months coming up with the game which he is sure will be popular worldwide.savegloop.com
