A woman from the Isle of Man has hit the headlines in the UK over the number of Christmas presents she has bought for her children.
Emma Tapping, from the Eairy, has bought her children 85 presents each.
She posted a picture of the presents on social media but received comments accusing her of spoiling her children and forgetting the true meaning of Christmas.

I was shocked how judgemental people were. My attitude is what I buy my kids is my business, no one else’s.’
She told Manx Radio: ‘A lot of people do know me on the Isle of Man and they’ve stuck up for me because they know I live and breathe my kids.
‘I work. I’m not claiming benefits.
‘I think the people that are judging have to remember that there are three little kids involved in this. This has gone viral without our knowledge.
‘This is the way we spend Christmas. If I want to spend my money on my kids then I will do. It’s up to them how they spend their Christmas. I won’t judge them. They shouldn’t judge me.’
