More than a tonne of builders’ waste was dumped in Baldrine last night.
The police say they want to hear from anyone with information about the offence.
It happened near Baldrine Road. The waste included rubble and plaster board.
It was dumped on a green lane, blocking the path and causing annoyance to nearby residents.
Police Sergeant Vinny Lund said: ‘This kind of selfish behaviour blights many parts of the UK. Thankfully on the island it is unusual and we need the public’s help to keep it that way.
‘Please phone Ramsey Station if you have any information which would help our investigation.’
